Investor and Employee Visa
The UAE has earned the reputation of a fast-growing regional business hub. The country regularly tops the charts of various renowned global business lists as the best place to do business.
Its current trajectory is supported by several years of market-friendly government policies which have strategically developed the UAE as the region’s corporate, economic, and commercial powerhouse.
By creating a special investment-driven visa scheme and work visa programmes that enable investors to live and operate in the UAE, the country promotes and encourages international investment. Currently, there are multiple types of investor visas available for those interested.
Applying for an Investor Visa in the UAE
Holders of investor visas in the UAE are eligible for various special benefits. Therefore, if your business setup meets the prerequisites, you shouldn’t pass up the opportunity to apply for an investment visa in the UAE. Zone 4’s business Setup advisors can guide and support you throughout this process.
Submitting the visa application
As a first step, we would submit your visa application on your behalf. If you have a partner that owns at least a 25% stake in the business, we can apply for a partner visa for you.
Filling out the Change of Status request form
Following the completion of your UAE investor visa application, next we will complete the change of status procedure. This can be done after receiving a clearance from the GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs).
Showing up for the medical exam
At this point, you will be requested to visit a designated medical facility on a scheduled day to complete your medical assessment, which is mandatory for all residents. Your medical test will be swiftly validated so we can move to the next steps.
Applying for the Emirates ID
To protect your safety and confirm your identity in the UAE, you must possess an official Emirates ID card. Therefore, the next step after a medical examination is to initiate your Emirates ID card application.
Getting your investor visa stamped
After all of the aforementioned steps have been completed, your UAE residency visa is ready to be stamped.

- Next, we change the visa status in-country.
- A labour contract will be created and we will initiate the Emirates ID application process on behalf of your staff.
- Your staff will be required to get their medical fitness certificate.
- At this point, their visa will be stamped.
